Such colors and motion. Beautiful. Flowers at dawn, huh?

So poetic too.

IrinaEihwaz responds:

Color scheme - yes! It was a priority for me. To show calm and inspired state of mind.
Thank you.

Beast. What's with her leg?

keepwalking responds:

can u specify?

That shadow is beast.

jfkid responds:

haha thanks.

Nice work. I disagree with the review below, the border and background do not overpower anything. I like how its digging the steampunk and art nouveau feel, really cool. I've been following your stuff for a while now, it's awesome to see it improve. Great job!

clayscence responds:

thank you so much for your support! I really appreciate it :)

Kinda looks like Maleficent crossed with the Grinch. Nice work, great idea... something disturbing about those blobs of green and their size though...

BugsAndBooks responds:

Heya Mister who's name I couldn't possibly pronounce right
and thank you very much for your feedback and the celestial fixpoints.

Ha, Maleficent never came to my mind while drawing this but now that you mentioned it... I guess his fuzzy "pigtails" (or whatever else that's supposed to be) kinda does look like a fashion choice, she would make ;)
And of course I'm happy to disturb you with my blobby things - muwahaha!

Best wishes and have an awesometastic day

Nice take on breaking bad. There is something hilarious about this piece, I just can't place it. The technique tho needs work. Keep at it man.

Mr-Insanity97 responds:

Oh ok and thank you. I think why is hilarious because it's really badly been drawn. To my opinion.

That is a really weird angle to be looking at her. Her perspective is getting radical quicker than the environment's, causing the strange feeling of subject at fisheye and the rest at 3point down. Maybe simply pulling the size of the hand and foot up just a bit would help.

Cool colors and detailing tho.

LuisEC responds:

thanks for the feedback! I really just tried this angle for a challenge. It was fun to kind of figure stuff out. I'll keep that in mind though, that makes a lot of sense :D

Interesting colors and classically oriented composition. The wings are real cool. That face threw me off at first though. either the lips were too high or the hair is too low.
Something about the half and half diagonal composition is off as well. If you were going for contrast on the wing, the symmetry of the environment could still have been broken up a little.

Good work.

Sevens responds:

she is modeled after someone i know, her face is like that, she has a hood on too covering her face as in real life. she is submerged in water, her hair isnt showing except on the left side of her face,
I feel the composition is fine, i did what i wanted, i havent went to school for art, I dont have an academic approach to my work feels too controlled when i go against my composition that kinda just falls in place. Thanks for looking at my work

Can't wait to see the finished work! Loved the series when I found it on here.

RobsH66 responds:

thank you!!

Beautiful simple and so expressionist. Great work!
That hands too big though. Or at least it seems.

1600 responds:

Thanks! I can see what you mean about the hand- I think I may have messed up the wrist a bit
